Fill the water tank with tap or distilled water. Plug in, and press the on/off button. You can choose whether you want to steam on setting 1, or on setting 2 by pressing the button next to the on/off button. Setting 2 is the most powerful setting. Let the device get going for a few seconds. After 40 seconds, continuous steam will start coming out of the steam head. Hang the garment on the hanger on the clothes steamer, or on a clothes hanger from your own collection. The clothes steamer can also be used horizontally.

Press the steam head against the garment and move the steam head back and forth across the fabric. Use the steam glove provided to apply additional pressure to the fabric.
